Love Overshadowing the Doubt


When I decided to turn this hobby, that I've practiced with my family, into something bigger, I received so much support from family and friends! When you decide to put yourself out there, it can be intimidating, but the outpouring of continued support has truly been amazing and overshadows the doubt that comes with the unknown.


Last week, I got to have a session with one of those friends that has done just that for me! Alexis has been one of my best friends since we met. We've been through Jr. High, High School, and we were even each other's weddings! Her family has always been welcoming to me, and I love that I got to capture this sweet season of life they are in right now!

Laughter Speaks Through Photos


To say I was excited for this session with Alexis, Camryn, and their niece, is an understatement. Some might ask if I was nervous (I mean kids are unpredictable), and I honestly was not at all! Sessions don't need to be staged, and honestly the best pictures come from goofing off and having fun! Laughter speaks through photos!


Their niece understood the assignment and rocked this session like a pro. We started off with some traditional smiling shots, then watched the ducks in the water, followed by a ticking war, dancing and so much more!

Perfecting the Details


The name of my blog is "It's All in the Details" because it's the details that tell the story behind each picture. Seeing the wonder in a young girl's eyes as she watches bubbles float by. It's seeing how excited she can get when she runs as fast as lightning. It's the laughter echoing throughout the pavilion as memories are being made. It's the joy in everyone's eyes as genuine fun is being had. It's, "look how tall I am" as a little girl sits on top of her auntie's shoulders. It's just that... "It's All in the Details."

Thank you for the support you have given me from the start and over the years! Having friends like you has been an incredible blessing and has helped shaped me into who I am today. You are all beautiful, incredible people that I am so thankful for! I genuinely had a great time with you all and can't wait to continue to see what comes your way in the future! Thank you for supporting me!
